At Dove Photography, we show the whole story of your day in either a storybook album, or a fabulous Italian style album. We like to have a good chat either face to face or on the phone to decide which package and style suits you best.

You can come and see us at some of the best wedding fayres in Blackpool or I can show you full albums of weddings we have photographed.

Q. How do I book my wedding photos with Dove Photography?
To book your wedding photos just contact Sheila on 07932685241 or by E mail, both of which are on the website. First we will check if your date is still free. Dates are allocated on a first come first served basis I will chat with you about your wedding and what type of coverage you require, we take traditional and contemporary photographs and provide fab storybook albums to tell the story of your wedding. Once you have paid the £200 deposit the date is secured for your fabulous wedding.

You can book us as far in advance as you like, we recommend that as soon as you have booked your wedding venue and received confirmation, you then book your photographer and all other services required for your wedding day so as to not be disappointed. Due to the high standard of the work we produce and our affordable prices, we do get booked up to two years in advance.
Q. What Areas Do You Cover?
Based in Blackpool Lancashire, we cover the whole of the UK and Europe and have photographed weddings as far away as Cyprus. In the UK, the furthest North we have been is Aberdeen and Ayr, the furthest south being Manchester, Cheshire and Mersyside & Stevenage (so far).
Q. Do you contract out your wedding photography service?
We never contract out our wedding photography, All weddings booked with Dove Photography are covered by Sheila, we often have a second shooter depending on the size of the wedding.
Q. Is your wedding service insured?
We are covered by a Professional Indemnity and public liability Insurance policy with Adukia Insurance Ltd
Q. Do you provide a written contract?
We feel that a written contract is vital. It lays down in writing our exact obligations, agreed prices etc and gives you peace of mind knowing you have a written document.
Q. What backup equipment do you bring to the wedding?
We always bring a full range of backup equipment to every wedding. For example, we bring backup digital cameras, extra storage cards, a laptop, blank discs, spare batteries and a portable studio if the weather is wet and we have to shoot indoors.
Q. Do you do a pre-wedding site visit?
We like to make two trips to your chosen wedding location if at all possible. The first, approximately one month before is to take a walk around the location to look for suitable shooting areas and to introduce ourselves to the Minister, Vicar, Registrar, Wedding Planner etc. The second, generally done on the day itself, is to have a final check to make sure the location hasn't changed since our last visit.
Q. What albums do you supply?
We use some of the main manufacturers of wedding albums. Our selection is extensive.
Q. What is the USB you supply?
In some wedding packages you get a USB of images to print yourself. These are full resolution and an exact copy of the photos in your album. You can also buy a USB with the rest of the images on it. These USBs are supplied with permission to print yourself for personal for you, family and friends.
Q. Are our guests allowed to take their own photographs?
We work together with your guests and always allow a little extra time for your guests to take their own photographs. We make a point of involving them and working with us and have never had any complaints. All we ask is that they let the main photographers get the shots first.
Q. Why do you have a pre-wedding meeting?
The pre-wedding meeting is a critical part of our wedding service. We get together with the Bride and Groom, generally a month before the big day, and discuss what photographs are required, we find out what shots YOU want taken. We know that each and every wedding is different and unique; you simply cannot have a standard list of shots that are taken on the day. This is usually the day the final payment is made and approximately 4 weeks before the wedding.
Q. Do you have a choice of wedding packages?
Each wedding is unique and different and we want to give you a good choice of packages that suit your photographic needs. If you need something a little different, just ask.
Q. Can I order a canvas print or an acrylic?
You can order a canvas, print, gorgeous acrylic or any of our additional products. We use a fabulous manufacturer of frames, acrylics and canvas’s. Our selection is extensive we can discuss this after the wedding photos have been chosen.
Q. Do you sell slide-shows?
You can order an amazing slideshow with around 75 photos on it set to music. It can be viewed on a laptop, 50" TV screen, I pad, I pod or email. The slide-shows have been know to make mums cry with joy ...The cost is only £125
